Game: 4th Edition DND Character Limits: Players Handbook/ DM Guide without full approval. Setting: Generic Fantasy World/ Greyhawk Time: 8-830pm Eastern Time until 1130pm Eastern. Max Players: 4 Active/ 2-4 Standbys Communication: Google Hangouts. Mic required/ Cam preferred. The game will be an original campaign mixing Role Play, Dungeon crawling, Combat and Acts of Epic Heroism. Your party will be made up of Big Damn Heroes even if they are a little reluctant in the role. The setting is dynamic and will be based on what the story needs to continue rather than static and preset. Magic is not common place in this world, however spell casters are welcome. Hitpoints do not represent direct wounds but a mix of wounds, fatigue, and stress. For this reason not all "healing" needs to be magical. At this point I cannot manage more than 4 active players but I am happy to sign up some "Standby" players to fill up the party on nights someone will be absent. You'll always know 24 hours in advance if that's the case. I have two small children who should be in bed by 830 but starts may be a little rough as we settle in; I ask players' understanding. My preference for all RPG's is to game with friends. The requirements for communication are specifically to that end- to become friends while we game rather than "just some guys and gals I hang out with a game". I realize there are TONS of resources for 4th edition, however my last RL game was destroyed by a new player who was using powers and abilities from a collection of sourcebooks who build himself into a self-healing tank-mage that did not require the other 4 people at the table to function. I would prefer to not see a repeat of that. That said I'm open to other classes/ builds/ powers but please give me time to review them and approve to be sure that everyone in the party has a role to fill rather than fetching Mt. Dew between taking full defense. EDIT TO ADD: And just like that we have 4 active players coming to our first meet up. Further inquiries are welcome, of course, but at this time I can't manage a big party and still move the game along. Thanks all!
