The darkmode is literally an unusable eyesore!  Darkmode is meant to be easier on the eyes, but somehow that got fucked up. SHAME on Roll20 for ONCE AGAIN pushing out utterly untested, unreviewed, and unpolished features on their paying customers!  God, only the sunken cost fallacy has kept me using this site after years, and I gotta say that reason is wearing very damn thin by now! Get it the hell together [Moderated]!
I'm a spellcaster. How can I pick spells when the font choice, size, and colouring immediately casts Blindness on me? And don't get me started on the colouring of the Inventory section!

lmfao....I literally came to the forum just to bitch about dark mode. Can we please get that horrible button out of my face? Thanks.
I didn't think it was possible, much less intended for the dark mode to hurt my eyes more than the regular design, and yet here we are.... Very bad. Please at least hide that huge dark mode toggle somewhere as you work on improving it

I am not sure why they changed the font on top of irregularly changing the font colour. The smaller font makes everything squished, and harder to read. Is it Times New Roman?

Dark Mode is two-headed. There is the site , which uses one set of display instructions, and then there are character sheets. The site is pretty polished. Character sheets will of necessity be an ongoing project. Every single sheet is custom-coded for display, and have not yet been completely converted. Community sheets will of course require community effort to convert. Official sheets look to be an on-going project. The best thing to do is to report where the sheets have issues so that the dev team know which sheets need the most immediate treatment. And remember the code of conduct we all agreed to.

The best thing to do is to report where the sheets have issues so that the dev team know which sheets need the most immediate treatment. And remember the code of conduct we all agreed to. It's the default template, maintained by roll20, and the 5th edition DnD sheet, also maintained by Roll20. Are you telling me they're right to release the feature in a mess of bits and pieces that's inconvenient for everyone? It's just utterly unprofessional, sir, and I most courteously object to this practice. I say Roll20 broke the rules of polite conduct first, by throwing out this halfbaked mess for us to suffer while they tinker with the features. It's barely in a condition to qualify for the DEV server, let alone public release.
Forgetting an box or two I can understand. But not filing away the toggle button under Settings is a weird design choice, and that designer should receive a stern talking to. And I wonder who they got to test read the various boxes of text that they clearly felt the need to change fonts for, but opt to not change the font colouring in some places, or do change it (for the worst, often times) in other places. What was the development process here?
Hey everyone! We really appreciate the reports being provided here -- we have spun up a dedicated thread for this release which you can find over here: <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/10728562/dark-mode-vtt-bug-thread/?pageforid=10728562#post-10728562" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/10728562/dark-mode-vtt-bug-thread/?pageforid=10728562#post-10728562</a> As we have a dedicated thread for this subject, we will be closing this thread to keep things tidy.
