About me: Hello! I'm Zaliron, or "The guy with the many animals" due to me having 3 cats, 1 dog, 1 aquarium, and 1 jumping spider (for some reason). I am completely willing to use pictures as a bribe to enter a campaign. Campaign preferences: As for what I'm looking for, I like long campaigns with a main overarching storyline to turn to once fun little side quests are done with. I love to RP character development and discover lore, but I also love combat. I think the two go hand in hand and I don't see why there's so much divide over it. If some PC saves my character from certain death, how could there not be some sort of RP development afterwards? Boggles the mind I tell ya. I don't mind mature themes, as I'm in my early 30s, but I'm not interested in campaigns where tragedy happens just for the sake of it. I just like your typical fantasy adventure, ideally in a homebrewed setting that's detailed and interesting, rather than the published modules and worlds others have created. Availability: I am available the following days/times (EST): Monday/Tuesday 6PM-11PM Saturday/Sunday 4PM-10PM Character Idea: So, I actually prefer to write blurbs for my character concepts. That way they can be integrated more easily into the DM's established lore and continuity. I have several concepts, just this one is what's been at the front of my mind lately: Race: Human Class: Druid (Spores) Traits: Cunning, Pragmatic, “Ends Justify the Means” Flaws: Arrogant, Greedy, disregards local customs There once was a young man from a rural village. Near that village was a forest no one dared set foot in, for so often they would come out...wrong. Lucas, however, scoffed at this mere superstition. Seeking riches from the plentiful wood and flora in the woods, he spent a full week chopping down trees and taking plants as he went, unaware he was being watched the whole time. Finally, just as he was about to leave the forest, he found himself surrounded by vengeful Fey. For his trespass and disregard for their woods, he was cursed to be slowly consumed by deadly fungi, doomed to be a festering mess of spores and fleshy growths. Now he wanders, desperately searching for a cure or at least a way to halt the inevitable.
