Default for Status Bars not working

So my issues is the exact same as this (now closed and never-responded-to post): <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/6054966/changing-defaults-does-not-affect-token-status-bars/?pageforid=6054966#post-6054966" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/6054966/changing-defaults-does-not-affect-token-status-bars/?pageforid=6054966#post-6054966</a> How can I set a value in these fields for the default sheet options and have it so when I drop a token on the sheet, it automatically links to the appropriate attribute (AC and HP)? I am fine if currently existing icons and maps won't respond to it, but it would make life much better for me if this would just assign the values and be done with it. Thanks in advance for any and all help!

Hi MazeusXenon! That particular user was trying to use an attribute call (like you would use in a macro) instead of just the attribute name. Here is an example from my own campaign, but you can move things around to work for your setup: Keep in mind that this will only affect new compendium drops, not saved tokens or tokens on the VTT. You are setting a sheet default for new content, not a game default for existing content.

Yeah.. so I set the default value on the campaign settings. When I drop it on a new map, the token does not pick up the defaults and none of the icon fill with information. For example, I just threw a new green dragon from the compendium on this page to show, and while it does have the attributes setup, it does not work on the icon details. They are not just an attribute I can select - it does nothing to assign it to a token bar or icon. Feel free to tell me what I am doing wrong, as I setup my default like this:

Hmm. That looks like it should work. You pressed save on the settings page? I.e. if you navigate back there, the values are still as you set them? You don't already have a young green dragon in the campaign? You are not running any extensions that alter the behavior of Roll20? Also, for a setting like that, I don't think that you need to go down into Miscellaneous on the in-game settings tab and apply defaults, but it might be worth a look. Let it do it's work, there's a thin, easy-to-miss progress bar. Hang in there, this is almost certainly a procedural error. You are not getting the expected and normal results, so we need to find out what step is missing.
Okay, let's see here... -- Yes, I did press save and yes any change are reflected when I navigate away and return. I did check that before, but always "make sure it is plugged in!" -- No, no green dragon anywhere else in the campaign. I also started a whole new game to be sure - it default to match your setup (minus the movement) and when I dropped a goblin on the page, nothing linked as indicated. As this was a whole new game, there was nothing anywhere to begin with! -- No, I am not aware of any extensions that would alter Roll20. I am using Chrome so maybe some other extensions I have within chrome is being a goober? I dunno... I did write some of my own scripts, but the new game included none of them and it still didn't work! :( -- I did try the "apply defaults" to my game (after backing it up and holding my breath) but that didn't help either. I guess I could try it again? And yeah, I agree I am missing something stupid simple on this and we will both kick ourselves when we find it! I'll keep trying whatever you got! Oh, does it matter I am using the official Pathfinder 1E sheet? Anything else you need to know?
