[Weekly post-apocalyptic game set in a world recovering from a generations old Cataclysm where humanity has been largely replaced with anthropomorphic creatures.] It has been over a hundred years since the world ended, generations passed since the dark days of the Cataclysm. In those days, twisted monsters walked the earth, the skies darkened, the horizon was lit with fire, and humanity all but extinct. Now, a new world steadily emerges, given over from humanity, to their inheritors. Metas were the final great invention of human genetic science, the use of controlled mutation to transform human beings into anthropomorphic hybrids of beast and man. A controversial fad in the decadence of the old world, these powerful beings now dominate the world through a combination of human intelligence and feral might. New nations rise, new ideologies spread as humanity recedes into the shadows of the earth to quietly die. Ancient ruins hold their secrets in dusty tombs, gravestones of a dead civilization slowly being consumed by moss and vines. The world ended, and is born anew, savage and wild, and ripe for the taking. Will you be the one to tame it, by tooth and claw? This game is set in an original setting mostly focused on North America generations after a world ending event which killed the majority of the earth's population, and has seen the new world taken over by the descendants of humans who had been transformed into anthropomorphic animal creatures before the old world ended. The game is set to use a D100 based system, using an adaptation of the dark heresy game rules, though with many aspects modified and new systems added. Character generation and progression is largely freeform, with players choosing species, background and skills rather than any class with locked in progression. The game also includes a very freeform weapon design mechanic where players can design their own guns by combining various features, layouts, actions and ammunition to create unique and varied weapons to loot or purchase. The game is set to include mature themes, not to be the focus of attention but not glossing over aspects of violence, exploitation or heavy concepts such as totalitarianism, bigotry and cruelty. This is not a 'grimdark' storyline focusing on misery or reveling in the darker aspects, but moral ambiguity and dark concepts will not be ignored or left unexplored where they fit into the storyline. Setting is a mix of traditional post-apocalyptic and medieval fantasy tropes with a combination of ranged and melee combat focuses and wildly varying technology levels.
