Handouts and variables

Good morning, I know some variables (like Name) can be used in a handout as a variable. A good example of this is MotD, which uses the  %%NAME%%  line. Is there a way to show the same thing for the contents of Bar 1 or Bar 2 on a handout?

Are you talking about the "Message of the Day" API? AFAIK, that's a trick of the API, and not a real variable in the handout. So an API to do something similar for the Bar content could be done, but it's performed by the API.
