Hello! First time posting here. I'm a DM myself, and have been actively running games for over 3 years now. Looking to find a DM (paid or free) to start off something new. My spouse and I are both in our 40's, and are looking for a DM and players within a somewhat similar age range (30-50ish?). I've nothing against younger folks, but we're trying to make friends our own age. Very strongly prefer other people in the LGTBQA+ community. Sundays would be best (something like 7-10pm EST). 10pm is a hard cutoff for us because we are old (see above). I will admit I have a bit of a vision of the type of game we're looking to play, which is why I'm offering to pay for such services. A long-term campaign which has a high magic content (think Harry Potter, not LOTR), lots of creativity and RP. Good mix of exploration, combat and role-playing. Voices would be a must (we do accents as well of course). Lots of flexibility where it comes to homebrew and race/class selection. Nothing game-breaking, we just enjoy having options. We're both most familiar with 5e but willing to explore other systems. We definitely favor rule of cool and being creative than strict RAW. As far as other players to join, I would not be able to cover your fees if this becomes a paid game, but happy to meet other folks and try to find a good group. It's important to us that we can play with minimal interruptions (i.e. no screaming small humans, barking dogs, etc.). We would want to do interviews and a few one-shots before settling in on a permanent long-term group. Maybe this is asking too much? I really don't know. But I figure worth a shot.
