Token is not affected by light - can't figure out why not

Hi all, The token of one of my player is unaffected by coloured light and always appears on top, no matter the map or whether I put him to the back or not. It's only the token for that character! As soon as I change the token to "be" another character it shows correctly. See this screenshot for how it looks when it's configured as Character A: https://imgur.com/a/HbTPpuj And this is how it look when I put it to "be" any other character: https://imgur.com/a/O9KwoBY Can anyone help me out? Edit Update: It also seems the token cannot be moved to the front or the back! No matter what I do, it's always at the front! I've checked it's on the correct layer, it's put to the back, but it seems like it doesn't matter.

Check the permissions. If the character is controlled by a player and has vision, it will always be on top for the controller (this is a decision of the Roll20 developers to ensure players cannot "lose" their token in a stack. If you do not want that ghosted look, make sure that you the GM are specifically listed as a controller on said token (but do not give NPCs sight--they don't need it and it can cause odd display during dynamic lighting).
Thanks for the clear answer, Keith! That makes sense, I'll be sure to use the tip you gave me.
