Its fundamentally flawed as players who are smart can just tweak their browser settings and turn off the dynamic lighting and see the whole map doing something very similar to how everyone gets past the soft paywalls online. Plus toasters can't run UDL, its a resource hog. This has honestly fixed my lagg completely, it is definately UDL that is not functioning as it should, which makes me wonder how i am the only one with these complaints currently. It's a shame i definately see the work that has gone into UDL, i really hope they can eventually make it work We get brigaded by anecdotal personal experiences when we try to get help with it and nothing ever changes. They have invested a ton of dev hours into a flawed model and refuse to backtrack and rethink their decision. LDL is there, I just wish someone at this company would understand that when they changed the UI to hide LDL, all that did was piss off paying customers.. move the god damned LDL back out to its own tab or leave it expanded by default, we don't deserve to have to constantly scroll down and expand it constantly. The only purpose that change did was inconvenience customers, it had zero functional purpose to hide it. Oh and devs in charge of UDL? Want users to find your bugs faster? Make a reverse option of the button to convert lighting outside in the settings button and make the UDL and LDL api switches identical so that actual DM's running sessions do not need to spend hours converting back and forth when your UDL breaks mid sessions. Nobody is going to move to UDL if our giant macro sets that work in LDL don't work in UDL.
