[LFP][D&D5E] Currently looking for 2 players for Thursday game 8 CST

Edited 1647499172
We will be starting a new camping on the 24th and are currently looking for 2 people to fill the open seats.  This is a free game so no worries about paying.  We have a current group with a mix of experience varying from a few years to decades.  The ideal candidate has the understanding that you will be part of a team (party) and will need to act accordingly.  Please also have a sense of respect for others and an ability to laugh at the ridiculous at times.  I as DM love to have players that know when it's time to laugh and cut up and when to take things seriously.  Please fill free to reply here, send me a pm or reach me on Discord at Gunnelock#4287
Are you willing to accept new players? Because I'd like an opportunity to fill one of those slots. I'm a team player and decorum and respect have always been important to me.
I certainly am.  Are you new to roll20 or just ttprgs in general?
Both. TBH I just got my essentials kit for 5e today. I have experience with CRPGs, though, with Baldur's Gate and Pathfinder etc that draw heavily from ttrpgs.
Hey are you still looking for players?  I have about 5 years of playong experience but only a few months exp on roll20. My previous group parted on good terms and I'm itching to get back into it! If given free reign I tend to play in/cg/cn however I dont mind given something else a whirl. The date and time work well for me.  Let me know! Cheers!
Hey Gunne! Thursdays work Great for me im definately interested is this a one shot kind of thing or a long campaign with RP and Combat?  also your discord name doesn't seem to work.  mine is KillDot#2151
Hey, Gunnelock I've been playing for decades in dozens of systems and draw heavy inspiration from dramatic movies, improv theatre, and screenwriting to create really evocative characters who are relatable and flawed. I'd like to know a bit about your style, as well as that of the other players. Some particular questions: How much narrative freedom do the players, *as players*, have in creating plot and setting? Is there a central theme that has been established which binds the PCs, and if not, are they open to creating one before play begins so that the PCs appropriately motivated? I dislike the common RP/combat % breakdown, as I think players can be roleplaying in character 90-95% even if a fight breaks out. However, I would ask what % of playtime you expect to be in initiative phases / what % was the last campaign? If possible, I'd also like to have a voice discussion. If you're interested, you can shoot me a message here on roll20 and I'll give you my discord (and as another said, your discord doesn't appear to work, even with some minor variations).
Thank everyone for their interest unfortunately at time time we are completely full
