Hello everyone! I am running a one-shot for some friends and am looking for a few more players. The one-shot date is March 20th. I will be inviting 6-10 players to the discord used for coordinating and scheduling. I plan to run the same one-shot again on March 27th, at the same time and for a separate group of players. ONE-SHOT PROMPT Deep in the forests of Cormanthor, a days journey from Myth Drannor, persists a humbly sized estate containing the most wonderful manor that appears built upon the ruins of some ancient castle. It is just beyond this wonderful manor, back in the rolling grounds of the estate, where an arena of sorts has been assembled. Makeshift bleachers govern one side a large pit dug down into the earth. This pit is loosely lined with boulders and they pile high on one side in particular with a quaint white canopy stood taught. The walls of the canopy are down and make the happenings inside discreet and private. The bleachers shutter as feet pound and roars of excited patrons gaze inward to the pit, for another round of eager contestants has stepped forward with their attempt at the cash prize. The esteemed estate owner glides through the fabric folds with a grin on his face. He pulls a lever to raise two portculli lining the interior of the pit. The crowds cheers are drowned by deafening roars as two creatures lunge forth ready to devour. My friend group (playing on the 20th) has determined they wish to be a private, third-party group attempting to infiltrate this rumored estate and heist away the prize money without much confrontation or danger to themselves. They are looking for trusted adventurers to assist them on this self invoked quest of greed and mischief. The are currently no plans for the group playing on the 27th and I am completely open to collaborating with whatever story will unfold.
