Day/Time: Friday/ 6:00 - 10pm UK Time (GMT)
Platform: Roll20 plus Discord for Voice.
Starting Level: 3 (but levelling will be faster than average)
Role: The party of 4 has one hybrid leader, (a|warlord) so a full
leader might (but not neccesarily if you’re feeling it) be overkill but
another hybrid would probably sit well. If you could bring a good to
great MBA for the warlord to utilize, even better.
Allowed Material: All. Not looking for hyper-optimized builds, but also
hoping for mostly mechanically sound concepts . There are some house
rules in play, not so much during character creation, as in their
further development, but that shouldn’t be an issue for most characters.
Setting: Planescape
Game Type: Open World, Collaborative story-telling; RP chops are
expected- unique accents are not (which is not to say they would be
frowned upon if you are into them); PC backgrounds will be relevant;
Self-motivated adventures, all told, there will be more expected than
simply showing up ready and willing to play
Player Experience: A fair amount of system competence both with Roll20
(macros for all of your abilities will be required) and 4e. Also, at
least a passing acquaintance with Planescape would be beneficial –
Clueless is as good as dead, berk !
Application & Selection: I will want to conduct a short (~15 min.)
interview with interested players. This will allow both them and me the
opportunity to get a little feel for each other and for pertinent and
relevant questions to be asked by both sides. Please send me a DM with a
time (between 9 am and 10 pm GMT) and your Discord details when I could call you and we could
have a little chat.
Other Notes: This is my maiden voyage DM-ing online, having said that I
have had a fair amount of experience behind the screen IRL. Five
sessions in and it’s mostly been easier than I feared so … less of a
worry than I thought it might be. Still, issues may arise and I trust
and hope you will be patient.
