Hey guys- Responding to a few questions here. Currently looking at maybe an every-other-Thursday schedule but have some flexibility if that doesn't work. Wednesday nights are good, too. Start no earlier than 7:30 or so EST. Play for 3-4 hours or so. That work? I'm looking to run a fairly serious BECMI game. Not serious in the sense of no laughing or anything (lol- that would be a nightmare) but more of serious in the sense that the simplicity of the rules doesn't mean the game should be goofy. Setting will be Greyhawk , far to the north in the land of Blackmoor. Or Mystara. While I certainly love the old school modules, I don't plan in using them. Shooting more for modern-style sandbox campaign (with some straight up dungeon crawls included of course). If we only get a few players I'm definitely ok with people running more than one PC. Maybe even advisable given the lethality of the BECMI system. Oh yeah, and I'm a pull no punches let the dice fall as they may kind of DM. Makes it easier to stay honest, lol. Sound like something you'd be interested in? I've been playing D&D since I was a kid, started c. 1980 with the Basic and Expert set. Played every edition since but still can't shake a love of the simple old system that puts the story in front of feats, min/maxing, optimization, and such.
