Game proposed for Saturday 9AUG14

Let me know what you think, I can't play Friday, wife's birthday, or Sunday, restarting Amber game. If the Saturday time is not good, I will work around your schedules right now all I have is PT three afternoons a week and doing my exercises 3X a day. I have stuck with weekends but until I go back to work I am pretty much open. I am hoping to go back to work in September now as healing is progressing fairly quickly.

Unfortunately, Saturday probably won't work for me because I already have plans. I might be able to show up late but I can't guarantee it. But if it works for everyone else, I say go for it. You can NPC me if you need a healer. As for the rest of the week, I'm pretty much open. I usually work 7am to 3pm so I can be available from like 5 to 9 EST. This Thursday 8/7 I might have to smoke. I can't remember if its my turn or not. I could probably still play but would be slightly distracted especially starting around 7 when the deployment should be done and I need to start testing. Smoke test usually lasts about 1 1/2 hours if all goes well.

No problem, I am waiting to hear from everyone. What will you be smoking, maybe the group would ptrefer to join you?

LOL. I'll be testing our Claims application after we deploy new code to production. Its a basic functionality test before we let the users back on the system.

I think this saturday is fine with me, don't believe I have any plans. Sorry I missed the last session .. work held me there till about 8 pm .. can be a little unpredictable. Big hog hunting area and dogs are always getting a good beating . Job security I suppose lol.

I can attend a Saturday session. I have games Tue,Wed,Thur.

Thursday's Smoke test has been cancelled so I can play nearly any day this month.

I should be good barring any of my now normal internet issues.

Excellent, I hope the Algore god is smiling on you Ryan, As you sail back to H.H. you can tell that some serious shit has gone down. A couple of the buildings near the docks are smoldering ruins and there are people waiting at the dock for you, especially Bran de Corbin, who seems to have missed your boat on the way out, he has several fresh wounds and his usually well polished appearance is disheveled.

Utoh!! Since I won't be there on Saturday... If Kelyn sees what you posted to Ryan, once the boat lands, she will start ordering all able bodied people to help set up a hospital/triage center in the least damage building or Dirty Frank's, and she'll start working on healing the wounded. Obviously the most seriously injured will be looked at first. She is currently out of spells for the day unless she was able to rest and pray on the boat back from Hawk Island so this will all be using mostly her healing/herbalism proficiencies. If Hammad still has spells she'll ask him to cast CLW on the worst ones. If not, she'll have him help with patching the wounded up along with anyone else who wrap a bandage.

Just checking in.... Alexander won't be able to play this saturday (Aug 9). I may be able to join a little late. I expect to be back home around 7:30 to 8pm eastern time.

@Tracy thanks for the heads up. Hammad will still have a couple Clerical spell slots to cast a healing (unless the DM casted em last time as NPC when I wasn't here). @ Everyone, Al sent out an email about a village map. He says the village map is in a Handout in the game, and that we need to Print it to write notes on it, or at least pay attention to the digital version of the village map handout. That's all Mike, players will not need the map today, I have to get you guys to Lithuania first. You are still needed at Hammad Harbor for now, next game you will be cooling your toes in the Baltic Sea. I sent that out prematurely, do read the update of the details page though, Hammad Harbor has had a bad night.

I think I got the jist of what happened last night but can someone run down what we did.

A group of villagers were kidnapped by a band of pirates, and we were asked to rescue them. We followed their tracks to a cave where we staked out for three days learning their patterns and discussing strategy. On the fourth day, soldiers arrived which put the pirates into a state of preparation. However,with their back-up, we felt we could attempt an attack. Farion and Brundle, the two most able-bodied warriors, took the slivovitska and swallowed some water breathing potion. Farion, using his infravision, led Brundle along the riverbed, by passing a majority of the pirates and accessing the innermost regions of the cave. Hammad listened and kept watch in a tree as close as he dared to the cave. Upon arriving, Brundle knocked out one man at Farion's behest, and Farion slew four more without alerting the entire band(the story of which has been told by Farion every night since). They, then, witnessed the leader of the bandits being contacted by some otherplanar entity(Farion calls it a demon), ordering the leader to go to the Lithuanian village of Palanga and meet with a witch immediately. After the demon left, the leader and his seconds planned their departure which caused the leader to be left alone. Farion and Brundle struck at this moment, slaying him quickly yet not before he could yell for help. Farion, also, shattered the man's magic weapon with a mighty blow. The two warriors fought and killed two more pirates who arrived to render aid to their fallen comrade. Then, Hammad saw a pirate running, decided to see what was up as F and B had been gone for some time. This turned into a fight in which Hammad killed one pirate dressed similar to himself and was set upon by some others. Hammad cast Sanctuary on himself for protection. Outside, a battle began between the soldiers and the pirates with the party helping the soldiers. After several more deaths, a lamed ranger, a burnt bridge, and a drunken half-elf, the entirety of the party infiltrated the cave. Farion, drunk, threw Hammad over the new gap, and I believe you came in shortly thereafter.

Sounds like fun. I'm sorry I missed most of it.

Did we ever get XP for the last session? I don't remember, very possible that I missed it lol.

I don't remember seeing anything about XP but I wasn't expecting to receive any since I had to sit out most of last week's game.

i have had some other things to deal with, your character was there, so she will get a share, they needed her and she could have died or been taken by the pirates, so she would be entitled.

I may or may not be able to show up tonight .. if not please run my character.. all stats should be up to date. I might also just show up late but I cannot tell at this point, work might have to keep me late.
