Is it possible to switch PF sheets if you're not the GM?

So I recently joined a PF campaign (it's ongoing and my character hasn't joined yet) and they use the simple sheet. I detest it since there's stuff I'd like to do that I can't (plus I've never used any sheet besides the other one) but after talking to the GM he doesn't believe that he can give me the other sheet without making everyone's switch as well. Is there any way I can change the sheet myself, or am I stuck with the simple sheet?

1 sheet per game, unfortunately. Even if you could mix sheets, they do not share the same construction or attribute names and nothing would work in concert.
