One Way Dynamic Lighting-Movement

Is it just me but I've just tried the new one way dynamic lighting for a ledge so the adventurers can't see what's on the upper ledge, but it restricts movement as well as vision, is there a way that it can restrict vision but not movement? (without having to turn off dynamic lighting barriers restrict movement)?

Not at the moment. We don't know yet how windows and doors will be implemented, but they are both in development.
Thanks for the reply Keith. I also emailed roll20 the question and this was their reply (and a pretty quick reply it was too) :) Thanks for reaching out! To my understanding, this is something that the team is already thinking about in addition to barriers specifically for things like windows and doors.   I don't have an ETA I can provide, but it is on the radar!
Thanks for sharing Gez, looking forward to it :)
My pleasure. Me too :)

I believe Windows are specifically listed on the development portal. I know doors are.
Doors are such an intrinsic part of D&D I'm surprised that they haven't been given a separate layer. I can't recall how many times I've opened a door only to move walls and floor tiles or had to move numerous tokens by mistake...Any tips?

It would only work in a game created by a Pro user, but yeah, Doorknocker is awesome for that. Until doors are truly implemented, here are a few tips: Make them a different color from walls, to make them easy to identify. Depending on the layout of the map, putting a little hook on the end can make them easier to grab. Design your walls in shorter segments. Easier to correct or redraw if something goes awry.

Thanks Level 2 Gamers but I'm not a pro user (Thanks for pointing that out Keith)
Keith. I do do the doors in a different colour with a hook, I saw that idea on youtube, but thanks for the tip a very useful one and worth sharing. My problems occur with moving my door tokens to the open position. I tend to accidently move map parts or character tokens by mistake while doing so which wouldn't be an issue if they had a dedicated level. But any tips would be gratefully received in that regard :)

For the map, you can use the lock feature (popup menu under Advanced). That can also help fix in place any light sources on the DL layer. It might be worth petitioning Roll20 to add the lock feature to lines as well as graphics. Until then, the only thing I can think of is to make sure you right click on your door segments during setup and bring them to the front. That would help minimize accidental selection. Those are little things, but they could help. I have seen the proof of concept for doors on the portal. When they do arrive, it will be a big boon for Plus users.
Keith thanks for your words of wisdom. I'll give that lock feature a try.. Many Thanks :)
