Wanted: Adventurers Willing and Able to Deal with Little Giant Problem Join us, Leslie and Jenn, as we lead you through the stories of Lost Mines of Phandelver into Storm King's Thunder, (Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition) Saturdays at 7-10pm (est) for $15/session. Lost Mines of Phandelver is set in the small town of Phandalin on the Sword Coast of Faerun after the Defeat of Tiamat in Tyranny of Dragons. Though not initially created for Storm King's Thunder, Lost Mines is a great way to start into chapter 3 of Storm King’s Thunder. Delve into the mines around Phandalin with the Rockseeker Brothers to find the lost Wave Echo Cave before the evil Black Spider and his crew take it for themselves. As you explore the deep, the surface is plunged into chaos as the Giants have seemingly begun to attack the people of the Sword Coast, as well as one another. When you return, victorious or not, you will be called on to defend the smallfolk, discover what has happened to the giants and try to set things right. We’re looking for 4-5 players, as a group or individuals. Mature (18+), committed players please. No level of experience required, just a sense of Adventure and comradery. We will use Discord for audio and obviously roll20 for game. “Who are we?” you rightfully ask? We are a married couple both in our 30s, each with over a decade of playing various ttrpgs. Leslie has been running D&D 5e for several years now, presently running 2 5e games a week for other groups. He’s a bit of a stickler for the rules, but is always willing to work with the players to achieve their goals. He likes to bring in multiple sources and materials to enhance the adventure and to tailor the game to the players and their characters. He enjoys weaving character backstories into the game whenever possible. Jenn is a meticulous note taker, known as a sort of historian in other games, if memories need to be set straight it’s Jenn who has the answer. For you she’ll be a note taker, quest log keeper, loot manager, music changer, rule or lore seeker, as well as always around to answer questions outside game night. There will be a free, though mandatory, session 0 before the game begins. Here we will: Get to know one another Discuss possible home rules, as well as the setting of the game. Determine Playstyle (combat focus, role play focus, tactics or Leeroy Jenkins, etc.) Make Characters (you’re free to have some ideas in mind ahead of time if you wish, all official materials open though some races and classes will have to be discussed. Sorry but Tasha’s variant CC rules will not be accepted, we feel they don’t represent Cultures and History of the races in The Forgotten Realms where these stories are set.)
