As both a player and a GM I have to bounce around frequently between my shortcut buttons at the bottom of the screen, token actions at the top, and handouts/character sheets for everything else. My players often have delays on their turns as they bounce around between sections on their charsheets. Like many GMs, I've taken to implementing chat menus to quickly put actions directly in front of players (or myself!) to speed play and manage encounters. It seems like a lot of this could go away with an old UI trick: the radial menu (also known as a pie menu). (Source: Temple of Elemental Evil, 2003) (Source: Grand Theft Auto 5, 2013) I would lose my mind with excitement over the ability to create a token, assign buckets, and then submenus or lookups/chat commands/macros within them and then just be able to mouseover and click as needed.
