Greetings!
My name is Neon, and I would consider myself to be an “actor” player as I enjoy
putting on voices and getting heavily into character when I’m playing D&D.
I enjoy campaigns with a 60/40 RP/Combat balance as I enjoy the bombastic set
piece battles to the minutia of interactions between characters and NPCs. I
have been playing for quite a few years and other players have described me as
thoughtful, engaging, caring, and intense. I am planning on playing a kobold
path of the beast barbarian gladiator who will be attacking 4 times a turn with
polearm master + claws upon reaching level 5. If having strong, combat
effective PCs ruins your enjoyment of the session, then your campaign isn’t for
me. Time
zone : my time is EST/GMT -5 and have a standard 8-4
job. I’m currently preoccupied on Thursday and Friday, If your campaign isn’t
within that time frame, I could join. Various Interests of mine include : Anime :
Hunter x Hunter, Full Metal Alchemist, Death Note, Your lie in April, Demon
Slayer, Attack on Titan TV & Movies : The
Batman (most all of them), Umbrella Academy, Merlin, The Witcher, “Love, Death,
and Robots Season”, Arcane (League), Castlevania Games :
Elden Ring & Dark Souls (all of them), Outer Wilds, Vampire Survivors, League
of Legends, Inscryption, Cities Skylines, Overcooked 2
Character I’m playing : Keepo
is an energetic and headstrong kobold that is after two things, prestige and shinies.
Born in a very traditionally and poor tribe of kobolds, he joined the hunting parties
where he other races who were several tiers above where his clan was. Despite
his tribe risking him of interacting with them, he would introduce himself to
them after seeing how often they would trade food, shinies, and other supplies.
When he learned that he could earn shinies for beating people up, he was sold. Overnight he became a
spectacle in the ring, if for nothing else than being able to put up a
considerable fight versus creatures far taller and stronger than himself. While
he didn’t win every battle, he still garnered quite the reputation for people
to visit whether to watch him succeed or fail. He did notice over time that the
cheers would always be greater when he lost than when he won. Additionally, his
clan began to shun him for interacting with the other races and rejected him
from many of the community events he used to be a part of. He didn’t like either
of those things. He decided to have a final match where he embarrassed a local ring
in the ring before leaving the town. Now he travels to see what
else in the world there is, the largest shinies he can find, and to be giving
proper respect as a great warrior. If this hasn’t scared you off, I would like to hear about you and your campaign!
