The setting is the world of Umdaar, where an unknown group/race/entity known as the Demiurge had absolute control. They reshaped the land, the environment, and the very building blocks of the inhabitants themselves. When they disappeared, they left behind a strange world of mutant creatures, inscrutable technology, and powerful magicks. You are the heroes arising from the chaos to prevent a new breed of evil, the Masters of Umdaar, from plunging the world into despair and darkness to satisfy their own passions. Looking for a few players for Fate on Monday afternoons US Eastern time (UTC-4).

Here are some of the characters people have made in previous one-shots I've run of this game over the years: A psionic human mutant who traveled the world with a troop of entertainers A humanoid seagull bounty hunter who needed money to start his own roost An anthropomorphic grizzly bear cyborg gladiator with a machinegun for an arm A disgraced member of the Oceanic Eel Mafia who had to flee to the land An undead butler who escaped his soulless master and sought to emancipate undead everywhere This would be an expanded mini-campaign, probably 10-12 sessions. Missing the odd one is not a problem for continuity, due to the episodic nature of the game.
