[LFP][Free][D&D 5e][Newbie friendly][LGBT+ friendly] Horror game

Hi all! I'm planning a game and wanted to judge interest. It'll probably be about a month at least before it's ready and I only want 4 players, but I don't know if anyone would want to play. I want to run a bi-weekly, Saturday morning (EST) horror D&D mini campaign. Full disclosure: it'll be pretty linear. Player agency is still respected, but it'll be more about exploring the characters and their interactions with each other and the environment.  The characters start on a prison ship as either guard, prisoner or sailor. Cannibal pirates chase the ship into a storm and the ship crashes. The characters wash ashore on a beach and are chased inland by the pirates. From there the story really begins... The game will have a serious tone. I will allow LITE PvP (only with consent of players who would be PvP'ing). I'm estimating about 12-14 sessions running about 3-4 hours each. So, is there any interest?

I think it's cool that you've setup a theme and provided a framework for who the PCs are and what their situation is. I much prefer this approach over 5 strangers with nothing in common meeting in a tavern to do a task for an NPC stranger. Even if it is fairly linear, players can create characters *for this situation* and motivate them in advance to want to go in the linear direction. I don't love linear, but this is the best way to do it. Few players is also, IMO, more interesting - it allows more focus on each character and their relationship to the others instead of diluting screen-time among a larger number. I'm interested. I hope you drum up some support.
I would be interested, and based in UK so depending what time in the mornings I could make it,  im a newb when it comes to D&D 5e, have played AD&D but that was 20+ years ago and im itching to get back into RP.  Stu
