Dynamic Lighting question.

K I have one player with Dynamic Lighting that I use for Darkvision. Do the other players see as the darkvision pc. One player has darkvision and the others don't. I don't want the humans seeing what the drow is seeing. So does each player have his or her dynamic light setup?

Depends. If the others do not "have sight" enabled they shouldn't be able to see in the dark... or see anything at all for that matter, unless I remember wrong. What I did for that in one of my game, I gave them very, very low vision. You should see in the "advanced" tab of the token Light Radius / Start of Dim / Angle. Try going with 5/0 (if one square = 5 ft), they'll only see really, really close to them. Then the Drow should have "Emit Light" but make sure that "All player sees light" is unchecked. Basically the Drow will see up to whatever distance you want, and the others only close to them or if they have a source of light nearby. Then you can play with the Dynamic Lighting tool for walls and such. Hope that helps!

Everybody is constrained by the walls you place on the dynamic lightning layer, but the other players can only see what your drow sees if you set up the drow's token so that everyone can see that token's light.

As Zentsuki indicated, leave the "All players see light" box unchecked and that token will have darkvision. Edit: fixed
Gauss, it WILL or it WON'T have Darkvision? I haven't played with DL in a while, but I thought not having "has sight" checked meant the character was blind wherever DL is enabled. :|

Thanks for catching that Zentsuki, my brain misfired (was thinking about "Has Sight" while writing about "All players see light" and got them mixed up). I have fixed it. :)
