D&D 5e Newbie-Friendly One-Shot Tonight 9pm MST Mics-Required-Skype

Herythere, will be doing a Reclaiming Blingdenstone one-shot tonight. The game is noob Friendly and comes with Premade Characters. If you wish to make your own character, we use 27 point buy (And generally never roll for Stats or health) and you can use the Basic or the Player's Handbook. Starting at level 2 with 100gp Starting gold, Inspiration is rewarded based on RP not backgrounds. Game will start at 9pm MST, we'll be using Skype for Mics, no Video required. This game is good for people new to the game, as well as old timers looking for a good time. Questions, interest, comment below, I will PM interested parties with an invite to the game.

Oh, cool. I'm very interested. I'm actually reading through the 5e player's handbook right now. I'm experienced with 4e and PF, but have yet to play 5e. 9pm MST is 11pm EST, AKA ~2 hours from now, right? I'd like to play a bard. I'll try to have one rolled up by then, but if not I can use a premade character.

I'd be very interested in playing in this. I have experience with 5e and the PHB. I would like to build my own character and I was just wondering what the group already has.

Doesn't Matter, In D&D 5e, you do not conform to the classic "Healer, Controller, Tank, Striker" formula. A group of 5 Wizards or Fighters is just as reasonable as a group of diverse individuals. So please, play what you want, not what the "party needs".

What level is the party starting at, by the way? Is this a level 1 game, or a bit higher?

It comes from my own idiosyncrasies as opposed to trying to make a balanced party but I will keep that in mind. Do you have a preferred method of character sheets? Mythweavers, drobox etc.

We're starting at level 2 (Because level 1 is too easy to die and the characters are too uninteresting). And i would prefer a blank notepad that you can copy into a journal sheet in game.

So you want the sheet in a notepad document? Alright. Are you allowing multi-classing and/or feats?
