Hi everyone. A few months back, I tried and failed at transitioning from running D&D 3.5 campaigns to an experimental 5e setting I had homebrewed. Thing is, I've never actually PLAYED 5e before, and found myself mentally falling back onto the rules from 3.5 by accident or interpreting the 5e rules wrong because I had missed something in the books or errata. After 4 sessions, I decided to shelf the project and try again later, then fell into 2 months of world building for another setting. I know, not really relevant, but it is currently 4am, so blah. My hope is that I'll understand and grow to appreciate it more if I get to play it rather than being a forever DM. If you've read this message and aren't of the faint of heart, I call upon you to find a place for me in your group. I prefer a mature group, but am fairly flexible. My schedule is mostly open within reason. My discord ( stygian1#0523 ) is the best way to reach me. I look forward to adventuring with you.
