Full screen pages (for PC POV / visual novel scenes)

Pages appears to have primarily been designed for top-down maps. Personally, I generally use them to show the PCs' point of view of a scene instead, like a visual novel, to enhance immersion. The problem is that I have to define sizes of such pages with absolute units. This means players don't have a good way to see the scene in its entirety without correcting the zoom level, seeing borders around the scene or dealing with unnecessary scroll bars. This is especially problematic since each player has different screen resolutions. What I would like to see is the ability to create full screen pages, and only having to define their aspect ratio for them, with 16x9 as the default.

Since it takes a long time if ever for suggestions to become real: In the meantime, what I often do when showing a mood scene is Shift-Z (this might require advanced shortcuts enabled) on artwork I've dropped onto the map somewhere discreet (behind dynamic lighting or on GM layer). This will pop up the image full screen for the players as you are looking for. The disadvantage is that if they click anywhere the image goes away. I suppose you could also drop the art on a player-visible region and have them press Z whenever they want to go back to the full screen (same caveat for adv shortcuts). Useful if they need to check their char sheet and come back or just clicked accidentally. A bit fiddly, but that's the only way to get around zoom levels. Disregarding zoom levels, a large rollable table token can work for Theater of the Mind, where you can select the image side you want without changing maps. Not downplaying your suggestion at all, just being realistic about timelines and such and thought I'd mention these suboptimal options in case you haven't tried them before.
Thanks for the suggestions, but they don't work for my use case. I not only show a scene of the environment, but I also dynamically place pictures of NPCs over them, and change their size depending on whether the PCs are directly interacting with them or just hanging out in the background. I'm also planning to use the foreground map layer to place weather effects, smoke and other similar stuff over everything0.
