[LFP][D&D5e][paid] Established persistent living homebrew setting with rich and engaging lore. Looking for 2-3 players. [Alternating Saturdays 9am - 1pm EST]

Echoes of the Past Anchor is a rustic, seaside settlement about 60 miles from Tempest Cove. The village mayor, Jane LaBou, overcame great odds to restore the town after great tragedy and is planning the 25th anniversary of it's rebirth. Nothing of consequence ever happens in Anchor. The people pay their taxes and festivals throughout the year keep spirits high. It's a quiet burg inhabited by quiet people. Lately that isn't so true. Fishermen whisper that storms have picked up in recent months and strange fish have begun to enter their nets. Others have spoken of hooded folk with odd holy symbols have visited their home in the waning light of dusk and speaking of the "true god of the sea." Several mornings the shrine of Krakadon has been found vandalized. Not to mention there are those sailors who have spoken of a strange new star in the sky that seems to drift slowly closer each night. Most of these are things that could easily be chalked up to too much ale and long days in the sun or rain. Classic Sandbox Politics : Medium Roleplaying : Medium Tactics : Medium Player Buy-in: The old school style of play where the DM just drops you in a small town surrounded by wilderness and you have to work your own stuff out has to sound cool. The first five levels are player directed. No Quest, just many rumors. It’s up to you which fires to put out, and there’s no way to solve every problem. Here is a  link  to a more detailed campaign pitch! Hey everybody! I am a 24 year veteran of DMing. I have run several campaigns at the table that have run for 2+ years. During lockdown I twitch streamed 6 paid games a week in an interconnected world for a little over a year. I can provide links and references! I am looking to run a game in that living homebrew setting of Oredin! It will take place every other Saturday at 9am - 1pm EST. If you are interested please reach out to me and we can begin the application process. You can find out more about the setting, other players, and contact me on  Discord Cost per player is $25 a session paid via paypal or venmo.

Holy shit, just joined the discord. There is a ton of lore. How many players are in this game?
Currently I have 4 solid applicants and I'm just looking for 1 or 2 more to set up a session 0. When I was running games multiple times a week I had upwards of 30 players.
Are you still looking for players?
Yep,  I am still in the process of reviewing and accepting applications

Working through the application - is there a place where I can put questions?  ETA: Nevermind, there's a channel in the discord. It's under general. Ignore me!
The players there from my past campaigns are super helpful and knowledgeable so you won't have to just wait on my answer for lore questions
Saw that your primer has some uncommon races listed. Do I have to pick from the primer, or are you open to your players choosing other races? I'd really love to play a tortle!
