I finished creating my own module so that I can test out Roll20 before I start my own campaign and I need some experience using the program as a DM (yes, I'm a first timer..) Information about tonight's module: 5E Basic rules only (because that is all am familiar with until the PH arrives) I have made up 5 characters with the basic rules in Roll20 character sheets we can use these. I am currently only a basic subscriber (ATM) so no import of characters. This is a home made module and it will use 1st level characters. I have put alot of time and effort into this so I am hoping it will be something very enjoyable for the players. You must have skype and a Mic to play. If you don't you won't be invited. No video. Players should realize that this is my first DM session so I can't expect to know everything exactly about Roll20 yet but if any experience players do play that would be helpful incase there is questions... DM Profile I will be setting up a few sessions so that I can get use to Roll20 as a DM and trying out a few things to see what works well and how it plays with my DM style. I am hoping with these sessions to find some players that are interested in a long 5E campaign. This will give both the DM and player an opportunity to find out how well they mess together with their play/DM styles... With these shortish play games I can find the right people for my campaign because I can watch them play, and see how they interact with myself. I believe in the big three, Exploration-Social Interaction-Combat and in my adventures (and campaign) a typical play session will include all 3 of these to various degrees depending on the state of the campaign. Sign-Up I would really like to have players that are interested in a longer campaign play these sessions so we can find potential players for the upcoming 5E FULL edition campaign but if there are not enough sign-ups then I would allow any player to come and play. Please state your intentions when posting a reply if you please. I will post about 7:30 pm EST the list of players invited to tonight's game, (5 max.) See you all then!!!
