Spell Attack Descriptions keep resetting

Hi, so I already googled and searched for possible solutions to this problem over the past few days but I could only find 2-3 topics on Roll20/reddit with people encountering similar issues but not getting/finding a solution. I like to flavor spell descriptions/attacks with a gif and my own descriptions as to what happens. Now - I don't know when this/the exact trigger happens - Roll20 or rather the charactermancer, it seems, keeps resetting the spell descriptions & attacks to default - deleting every custom thing I input. I already tried fixing it the following ways: changing the spell name/putting a punctuation in the spell name trying to turn off settings that might make the charactermancer interact with my sheet The thing is. This only started happening after I got a Rod of the Pact Keeper and adjusted these values in the sheet settings: Before I adjusted these values my spell attacks & descriptions never reset to default as far as I remember. I really hope someone can give me or my DM a solution as to how to fix or get around this. Thank you in advance!
No one? :(

Hi Drakster! Are you making the changes to the spells on the spell tab, or in the attacks section on the main tab?

Both. But only the changes in the attack section get deleted/reset to blank. I can trigger the reset by changing either values of the settings in the image posted above. Example:

That was what prompted me to ask. The attack section is populated by the spell section by way of sheetworkers (my understanding). In the case of spells (weapons are a bit different, since they are not really edited or maintained by charactermancer levelup), the best place to edit (and change the name, most importantly) would be the spells tab, not the attack section.

I already tried changing the name (see the "!" in Blight; also made a Cantrip called "Create B-B-Bonfire") which does not work. I also tried it with Spells not being pulled from Roll20's compendium - no change in behaviour. And changing the spell description on the spell sheet itself seems counter-intuitive and -productive for simply wanting a few lines/a GIF for flavor under each attack roll. Furthermore if my DM then goes: "Can you please post the description in chat?" Then either it would be missing or I my flavor stuff would always be bogged down by mechanical texts. :( To me it still seems like a bug or at least some oversight/unintentional behaviour in the programming of Roll20/the charactermancer (for this reason I made a ticket as well the other day regarding this issue). Why give the option for descriptive space if the charactermancer will delete/reset the input to blank "randomly"/upon just accessing the settings of Spell attack/DC modifier. Again, this is only ever an issue when you modify these values. Before I got such a class item, it never was an issue.

There are other uses beyond spell transcription for that field. If you change the name in both places, it should be charactermancer-proof. I haven't tested, though.

If the Spell in the Spell Tab has the option "attack" set, it automatically appears in the attacks section of the character sheet. If you need to modify that, you need to do it in the spell tab and beware, modifications are NOT taken over to the attack section. It just blanks out (had this problem myself!) To fix this: delete the attack AND the spell and add it again (or drop it from the compendium)
