Hello and thanks for checking out this post.
My name is Zola and I have been playing
D&D for many years. I've been building a wonderful world as a playground
for my players, offering a fun, entertaining, and passionate experience to be
shared with an online audience. I am a solo, upcoming content creator and I am
currently looking to recruit players for my for the
upcoming games I am planning. Players from all backgrounds and experiences are
encouraged to join. LGBTQ+, POC, and People with Disability are welcome. Those
who are averse to these communities are not.
Setting Welcome to the world of Phandara; a world where the past is unrecorded. In the present, people are beginning to uncover the mysteries of what happened to their predecessors, finding ancient technologies and machines far more advanced than their own. Meanwhile, a silent threat has initiated their plans, slowly encroaching upon the world. Those plans have set forth a series of events, culminating in the world teetering on the brink of shattering as the Fey and Shadow planes begin to merge with the material plane. The fate of the world rests on the shoulders of a select few. Will you heed the call? What campaigns are currently available? Currently, I have one short campaign that can take 2-3 more players described below. The Deep Dig
The inspector is supposed to arrive. You know what that means. No mining happening today. It's just cleaning and making sure everything is up to code. Everyone is fidgeting and restless as they're lazing the day away. But the big man wants updates and wants to make sure everything's getting done 'properly'; whatever that means. You haven't ever heard of anyone named Avosh. But he's the one paying you so what does his name matter. The real question is, what's so important down in these mines anyway?

Characters MUST be in some way related to the excavation. How often can I expect games to join? I am aiming to have at least one short campaign to play every 2-3 months. Short campaigns are expected to run 4-5 sessions but can run longer depending on player choices and actions. Short campaign are story driven with minimal focus on backstories. They offer a chance for you and I to get to know how each other play and uncover lore about this world at the same time. I am currently writing and compiling elements for two long campaigns. These games have total freedom of direction to explore the story or dive into character back stories. These games are currently not open for players at the moment. These games end when they end and the story has been told. Expected session run time is roughly 20 sessions between major story arcs (sometimes I call them chapters or seasons) and runs until the final arc is complete with no deadline. What can you expect from me? I run games that lean heavier towards role play. When it comes to combat, I like to implement them when they have some significance. This can mean anything from finding clues for an investigation or a massive boss battle. Depending on the party, you can decide to run an entire story arc without a fight or cut through hordes of villains to purge the lands from evil. The choice is yours. Games will mostly be in Theater of the Mind. Additionally, there will be safety rules set in place so every player can feel comfortable at the table knowing certain things won't come up during active play. If by chance it does, safety rules also allow the flexibility to move and change things around. What do I expect from players? Play how you like to play and interact how you feel best suits your needs. I want this experience to feel like a normal TTRPG experience with an added side variable of it being recorded. You don't have to have any part in any of the production process and I only ask for you to play how you feel like playing. I use Discord for chatting and Roll20 for the game. Do I need to do anything special or different? Not at all. This whole post is merely to be transparent in letting you know that games will be recorded and some games will be made for the purpose of editing and posting online. I don't expect any different behavior for playing at my table. My discord rules will also explain a few other aspects for transparency. How do I join? If you're interested in participating in this world, leave a comment below or send me a DM through Roll20 with your discord handle attached. If you have any other questions too, post them below.
