Hello friends, I am running games every day at 7PM EST Monday through Friday that all take place within a shared world of my own design. This means that the groups within the games have the power to impact the world in a way that can be felt by every other group. What you say and do and where you choose to spend your time and attention will matter in this world. Neglecting possible threats to a region could mean that region gets wiped off the map! Major villains also populate the lands and their influence becomes more apparent the longer their power is allowed to grow unchecked. There is a shared discord server that every player is invited to come and chat among the other groups about your various exploits in the world. We'll also use Discord for voice while enjoying Roll20's VTT for everything else. About the world itself, it is a patchwork of realms that were once devoured by a massive rolling force of nature who existed between worlds. Slowly he consumed all, until it became too much and threatened to overwhelm him. Rather than die from his own gluttony, he created a tower capable of storing some of the residual energy. This was the Atlas Spire. Nobody is quite sure why it happened, maybe the tower was constructed poorly, or it was damaged somehow, or opened by someone, but the energy that was once stored inside began to leak back out into the gap between worlds. This energy, not really sure what form to take, did its best to recreate what it used to be. This meant that suddenly, in the endless grey void, continents and oceans and even life would form out of what seemed to be nothingness. As the tower was home to bits and pieces of very different worlds, the realm that formed outward from it is a veritable jigsaw puzzle of dramatically shifting lands. Continents can form out of the grey void overnight, complete with new monsters, magic items, entire civilizations, and so on. What this means for you, is that there's no shortage of exploration opportunities. Back in the "civilized world" you may find an organization who are interested in hiring talented adventurers to sail off to new lands as they form and investigate for anything of value that they will happily buy the rights to. You may also decide to launch your own expeditions and see what there is to discover for selling to the highest bidder back home. It promises a somewhat even divide between the social engagement aspects in high society, and the down and dirty raiding of lost arks when you're off on some previously unknown (un-existed) island. And that's just what you do in your free time. There's a long list of major villains who are looking to tear the world apart or remake it in their image, or just subject everything to their servitude. Uncovering their webs of influence may take cooperation between yourself and other groups of adventurers in their various corners of the world. In the spirit of camaraderie among the groups, you're welcome to trade or buy / sell items off of each other in between games. Found an epic spear that has become outdated by an even more epic sword? Let me know, and I'll post it in the discord for another group to pick up. Your new-best-friend / messenger owl will carry it away in the night. This allows me to overpopulate the world with artifacts that have set-in-stone locations. Which means, exploration is very much rewarded in Atlas. Now I'm only able to do all of this because I am a wizard with google spreadsheets and have automated as much of the work as possible. There is a massive amount of reliance on my own custom made generators and trackers which get bigger every day. This comes alongside myself taking the reigns of DMing and coordinating five whole groups of players, making their maps, their quests, their NPCs, and keeping a record of all their contacts and exploits. It is an incredible undertaking for me behind the scenes, but it's one that I'm very capable of doing, and something I don't think anyone else could do better. Which is why I run this as a paid game exclusively and why I ask for $20 per session. If you're interested in the game, but the price tag is off-putting, let me know. The third party service I use to ensure fair charges and a good reputation offers discounts and promotional codes and I'd be happy to find some and work something out with you (especially for a group rate!) Aside from gaining access to this project I've dumped my heart and soul into, you're also very welcome to add your own flair to the world if you've got any well-made homebrew you've been dying to use. All those patreons full of cool classes and magic items are very welcome here under the condition that you 1) Allow me to vet and edit them if I deem them overpowered or unfitting and 2) provide them for use by any other players in any of my other groups, including myself for villains and NPCs. On top of being Patreon friendly, my intention is to create original content for the game  At this moment, my slots for new players looks like this: MON (Group A) 4 players - 1 slot remaining! Next Session is #3! TUE (Group B) 0 player, 5 slots remain. Need 3 to start!  WED (Group C) 4 players (2 are temporary). 3 permanent slots remain. Next Session is #2! THR (Group D) 4 players (2 are temporary). 4 permanent slots remain. Next Session is #1! FRI (Group E) Full - No Slots. Next Session is #3! If you'd like to learn more, my GM profile link is here and it will list all of my "upcoming games" which I mentioned in this post. Feel free to sign up there via Start.Playing or to message me here for help! If you want a more immediate response, you can add me on Discord at See Creature866#6036 Thanks for taking the time to read through this! I'll update the thread as people join so it should remain accurate. Happy hunting out there!
Friday group filled up! Original post updated to reflect new seat arrangement.
A slot has opened up on Monday, original post has been updated to reflect. Every group is still only just starting out, it's the perfect time to join on any day that works with your availability!
Hello again everyone! Still looking to fill a group on Tuesday, no players currently signed up for that day yet. Every other group is currently having some times... For example, this coming week; Group A will be in their 3rd session. Haven't left the town they started in. Have become wanted criminals responsible for murdering a noble Paladin (in their defense, he started it.) Group C will be plundering an ancient temple, searching for Goblin river marauders, and dealing with the self-proclaimed "Dark Knight" in their group losing his cool to unseen influences. Group D will be embarking on their first session, an expedition to the Northern Charmes, a frozen hellscape with no redeemable qualities to meet a man with a mysterious offer. Group E will be reuniting after half the party got entangled in a missing Druidic circle plot, and the others are back in town preparing for a ritual to discover the Tarrasque while overcoming a conspiracy by the local government to keep a creature capable of annihilating the realm a secret. Also they're wanted criminals. (Again, probably not their fault.) Sound like a good time to you? Let me know! My discord tag and Start.Playing account are listed above, and most tables still have room for new players. If you've got friends trying to find a good group, I've got a whole table on Tuesday waiting for you!
