I've played 5e, Shadowrun and Cyberpunk, unsure of which generations for those two. I really enjoy 5e the most out of everything I've played. I run two games as a new DM and have been playing 5e for around 5-6 years now. I discovered 5e through a hobby shop near me, after listening to The Adventure Zone and getting interested in the game. Despite being introduced through TAZ, I'm generally a more serious roleplayer than they are in that game. I'm looking for another game to fill my Monday/Wednesday/Friday availability slot(s). 3) What do you feel are the top 3 responsibilities of a player? In a Ravenloft campaign I am currently in, my character had a terrible childhood and thus is very protective of children. When we encoutered the spirits of two children, he dropped everything to ensure that they were safe, and to see if he could help them. He made it his personal quest to clear the home of negative spirits so that the children were safe, and he encouraged others in the party to stick to their guns to save the kids. Also, in another campaign, I was faced with a loss of my entire party. It was only my character left. I had a dialogue with the big bad guy, and he offered me great fortune and power if I were to join him. The DM made it clear I was free to make this choice. I looked back over my dead friends, the pile of gold behind the enemy, and decided to turn him down and leave, determined to spread word of my friends' heroism and maybe even find a way to resurrect them. 6)Are you playing in any other games? If so, when and how frequently? In person or in Roll20 ? Tuesday at 7:30, Thursday at 7:30, running two of my own at 7:30 Sat&Sun. I need to be constantly occupied or I go a bit insane, so I feel comforted by having a lot of games going at once. I also plan games around my college and work schedule, and none (including this one) interfere. Only the Tuesday game is on Roll20. 7) If you had to pick a favourite book, what is it and why is it your favourite? Guapa by Saleem Haddad. It tells the story of a gay man in the Middle East as he struggles with his identity and the clash between being Arab and being gay. I like it because I can relate, but also because the storytelling is phenomenal.
