You heard about this village of halflings who make some of the best food ever tasted, and you know halflings have a reputation for enjoying the finer things of life. You head for the village which looks very idyllic as it comes to few with quaint little homes, barns, and fields. The small folk are busy out in their feilds or about the village, singing joyfully or humming if they can't sing. Then the sky falls... This is a short one shot with a mixture of role play opportunities and combat. Please prepare a 2nd level character using the standard array or point buy, no rolling.
