About Me
My name is Dex, and I have been GMing and playing D&D
and other roleplaying games for nearly 20 years. I have been running paid games
for around the last 2 years with great success. I live and breathe tabletop
RPGs. I spend most of my time writing adventures, building dungeons, reading
published modules, and preparing games. I am constantly finding ways to improve
my games and provide entertaining and engaging experiences to my players. I
love to meet new people, introduce new people to the hobby, and find out what
my players are going to do next!
About The Game
I can run various versions of D&D and other roleplaying
games, including D&D 5e, OSE, Knave, City of Mist, and Pathfinder 2e. I can
run a lot of different adventures including most published 5e adventures – Lost
Mine of Phandelver, Princes of the Apocolypse, Cure of Strahd, Waterdeep:
Dragon Heist, Dungeon of the Mad Mage, Rime of the Frostmaiden – and old
classic adventures like Keep on the Borderlands.

Game Style
The style of game depends a bit on the system and module –
but like all GMs I definitely have a personal style. I like adventures to feel
dangerous, I want players to face interesting challenges and make difficult
decisions. How players choose to interact with a challenge and how the world
reacts to their choices should be the primary focus of the game. I particularly
like the exploration aspect of RPGs and I like fast-paced combat.
My games always have a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I
aim to provide a fun and engaging game where we can all have a good time.
How to Play
Games are played using the Roll20 virtual tabletop and
discord for communication. You will need a microphone in order to play. You can
use a webcam if you like, but it isn’t necessary.
When Can We Play?
I like to run weekly games with sessions running around 3
hours long. We can set a day and time that works for the group. I am on UK
time, so I can’t really run games between 10pm – 8am GMT, but any other time is
fine.
Payment
I run pay-to-play games. My rate is £ 15/$18 per session per player,
made via PayPal before each session. If a session is cancelled for any reason
and payment has already been made, you will be refunded as soon as possible.
