Changing Map Layer in the Initiative Tracker

Currently if I want to move tokens between layers I have to bring up their current layer and then move them to the new layer. Would it possible to do this from any layer by just using the Initiative Tracker, i.e. click on the tokens initiative row and pick the layer to move it to, without moving my view to the layer the token is on?
