15th High Level Lords of Waterdeep: in 3D! Get Talespire VTT and Digital Boardgame for FREE to. With Free Session 0.  High level Adventure for Wannabe Rulers! Intrigue, Backstabbing and other Political Shenanigans!  Adventure in the Greatest City on RPGs! You are a very prominent and important personage in the fabulous City of Splendors, Waterdeep. You have had many experiences which from which you have learned much and grown the wiser, they say. You are taking it a little bit easier than in the heydays of your misspent youth. You had gone on many adventures and for many years. And hence quite the stories piled up to tell. Now you're not quite ready to just go sit on your throne for Winters long. As the days go by, you are still out there taking part in some of the excitement as you are only semi retired and you have much adventuring left to do. But at the same time you have gathered extensive power and prestige and with many important connections you have been placed into a role of prominence. Even though it is a secret role, it is a very powerful and weighty role nonetheless, one that you did desire. For it gave you new avenues to grow instead of sitting idly and rotting, as veterans of many adventures sometimes do, stewing in their own brew. Your unacknowledged claim to fame to the masses is in the great City of Waterdeep. You are a masked Lord of Waterdeep, one of the rulers of the council of which only one is known, the open Lord Piergeron, Paladin-son who has ruled openly for about two decades... ...You wake up on a nice breezy day and feeling still breezy from last night. What a song that was... just right. Last night's songs...Ahh yes, and oh, what a throng hehe. Something to remember or not? Did happen last night? Then, as you look in the mirror after reshuffling yourself from your disheveled state with some super spruce coffee. You notice something about your hair looking more out of place than usual. Or more than that, some hair is missing from its place. Why? Peering closely you see that it's several locks of hair and a large chunk are missing. And it's hard to see it because it's kind of on the back, but it's kind of hidden too...What the... It is the morning of the 7th Eleint FR 1370, and there is a letter slipped underneath the door... You open the letter, which seems to crackle? Almost with some kind of static. Almost like the air on the eve of a Thunderous Lightning storm. There's there's something electric about it? The letter says... "Greetings stranger. Or should I say Hidden one... Yes, I remember you. For many a year ago there was a city. Far, far in the ancient kingdoms buried in the Southern sands lost in time. You may not remember it well. But me, I shall not forget. Though that is a story to continue at another time. Let me say this for now and listen well, Oh wanderer of lands afar. I do know who you are. And I can embroil you in something you would be surely very much displeased with to put it extremely mildly, so listen very closely to my tale...or offer..." In 3D! Get Talespire VTT for FREE to. Rewards Sometimes Players in a campaign dominated by court intrigue and politics could grow frustrated at the lack of juicy opportunities to hack down foes or scoop up treasure. However, the slower, less clear-cut victories at court hone negotiating skills, patience, and judging character—and successes can bring immense satisfaction. As with anything else that takes a lot of work over a long period of time, it feels worth more than something gained with a swift sword thrust or lone spell. As player characters succeed and advance at court, their reach (influence, the number of issues and jurisdictions they are involved in, and the wealth or courtiers working with or under them whom they can throw at problems or into furthering their aims) will grow. The nature of play might become far more engrossing than dungeon-crawls or even pitched battles. There’s nothing so satisfying as becoming a real power—which is why so many tyrants and mages such as Vangerdahast, Manshoon, and Szass Tam have tried it. To have your character succeed in tough conditions, with a great DM bringing Faerûn to life and hurling problems and diplomatic messes at you right and left, is truly something to be proud of. You, too, can rule a kingdom—or stand behind the throne of King Thunderguts and make that kingdom worth ruling for him. Welcome to Birthright: Shard Wars The Harlequin Throne . A special campaign with an original plot and twist adding onto the three main adventures for Birthright Sword of Roele, The Sword and Crown and Warlock of the Stonecrowns adventure path. On the border between Anuire and the land of Khinasi, the Three Brother Mages fight an ancient and immortal awnshegh, the Chimera. The game of cat and mouse has recently begun to draw regents from the entire region. Rumors say that the blade of the last Amuirean emperor, the Sword of Roele , has been tracked to the Chimera's domain, the Chimaeron. The fact that the Gorgon's armies are mustering in Kiergard seems to support the rumor. But choosing sides between the Chimera and the Three Brothers is no easy matter. If the Chimera drives the Brothers out, the trade routes through the Chimaeron may be sealed, leaving the seas free for the Khinasi to monopolize trade. If the Brothers drive the Chimera from the magical sources that give her strength, they may establish a beachhead for the Khinasi, who are gobbling up the lands of Anuire just as their own lands were once annexed by the empire long ago. Who will you and your comrades ally yourselves with? Who is the true enemy? Can you recover the Sword of Roele before anyone else does, and lay claim to the Iron Throne? High in the Stonecrown Mountains, a new source of dark magic stirs, wakes, and spreads its wings to shroud the land in shadows. Who is The Warlock of the Stonecrowns , somehow realm magic across the Realms is in strange flux! If that isn't enough, the Warlock threatens to close the only pass connecting the trade-kingdom of Cariele to the rest of Anuire. An army of orogs and ogres is gathering to the Warlock's banner: Are your heroes equal to the challenge of the twisted magic of the Warlock of the Stonecrowns ? The Sword and Crown is an event unrivaled in Anuirean politics. Every five years, rulers come from across the land to renew friendships, cement alliances, and provoke their enemies with poisoned words and sharpened swords. Wheels turn within wheels, and plots abound. It's politics as usual in Anuire. Except this conclave is different. Not only is it taking place in the PCs' kingdom, but before the festivities can even commence, someone wages an attack on a Prince and kidnaps his daughter. And to whom do the regents turn to rescue the princess? The hosts, of course! Additionally using King of the Giantdowns for hexcrawl conquest and new kingdom building as well as Legends of the Hero-Kings turn ordinary domain actions into opportunities for heroic exploits. Don't allow a mere die roll to decide the outcome of a blood challenge, rebellion, intrigue, or magical event - the PCs forge their own destinies by confronting a madman' wresting a relic from its evil wielder's grasp, thwarting a rival regent's "Double Dealing," and saving all of Cerilia from "The Gift". Recruiting notes Sessions Will be Held on Saturday evenings. If times need to change we will try to accommodate. We will meet on discord to discuss character setup and backgrounds. The game will start when there are 3 players ready. Cost: $19 per session. Request an Invite to Play If you'd like to request an invite to play, send me a private message with the following information: Your roll20 name: Campaign name/day/time available: Your Discord ID and number: Briefly describe what you're looking for in a gaming experience: Your online D&D experience: none / beginner / intermediate / expert Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. https://app.roll20.net/join/13004481/1oHF2A
Eberron Aftermath Mysteries of the Last War is a full length campaign set in the pulp-noir, steampunk-like world of Eberron. In this adventure, players will explore Khorvair, the City of Towers, the new continent Zendrik and the Mournland, a region twisted beyond recognition by the disaster that ended the Last War two years ago. The group will hunt for lost artifacts left behind when the population of Cyre was wiped out, explore new lands and solve mysteries. You play a scavenger, an adventurer and an investigator exploring the City of Towers, Sharn then braving the unpredictable and monstrous dangers of the Mournland in the aftermath of the Last War. With your own war experiences still lingering and haunting your memories, you work for rich salvage brokers who pay you to enter the Gray (the locals’ name for ruined Cyre) and track down Cyran artifacts and relics. Everyone has their own reasons for taking on this dangerous work: profit, redemption, guilt, patriotism, revenge, curiosity, or motives more generous or sinister. Whatever the reason or whomever you truly serve in your missions, the danger of the Gray is no less real. Death awaits any who brave the scarred and haunted landscape of the Mournland. The scavengers and salvage brokers make their homes in the town of Salvation on the edge of the Mournland. In this lawless town, successful scavengers need strong wits, nerves of steel, ambition, and a team to watch their backs. Vast fortunes and buried secrets ready to be unearthed await you in the Gray, but so do terrible monsters and lingering magic. The Salvage Bases and Missions supplement gives the party the option to build their own custom base using parts salvaged from the Mournland. If it's built up enough the base can even become a mobile operations center that can travel into the deepest places. This will be a long-term campaign played weekly planning for Saturday afternoons, but can play any day or time on the weekends. I expect the campaign to last 1-2 years and go from lev 1 to 20. We will skip some holidays but otherwise sessions will mostly not be canceled or skipped. Cost: $19 per session. Request an Invite to Play If you'd like to request an invite to play, send me a private message with the following information: Your roll20 name: Campaign name/day/time available: Your Discord ID and number: Briefly describe what you're looking for in a gaming experience: Your online D&D experience: none / beginner / intermediate / expert Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. https://app.roll20.net/join/13303464/1fj5lQ
