Hello I am running a one shot and looking for a few more players. My wife is away, and well time for D&D. The session will start at 2 and run till 10 latest midnight. We will take a dinner break. The Festival of Spring is upon the city of Yarn, and up in the Frostvien Mountains a fog is coming down onto the city. A voice can be heard in the fog. My Love, A smile on your face, A smile so beautiful, Smile with me, As we begin the feast, Smile with me, As we feed on the flesh, My Love, The feast is for your smile, It is night and it is the there is a festival going on celebrating the start of Spring. As the festival is in full swing a woman screaming is heard. run to the screaming woman yelling for help. As she is found you all see a woman with blood streaming from her right arm. Tears in her eyes as she cries out for help, but behind her is a fog as a spear comes out of the fog and pernitrates her stomach. A chain attached to the spear pulls her into the fog as she screams in pain. The crowd starts to run. You run to your homes to pick up arms as the fog rolls further into the city. Screams can be heard and the bells ringing for all to pick up arms to defend the city. You run to the city square. Races are PHB races except variant human which I do not allow. Classes are PHB and Xanathars no multi classing. We are rolling for stats with a single roll or point buy. We will be lvl 8. Starting equipment You can choose a +1 weapon or a quiver of +1 ammo. I do not do ranged + weapons. You will have 2 health potions. You will also get to select armor 1 above that what you start with. I will give a selection of magic items at the start of the session for the party to distribute. Special Rule with Hit Die A Hit Die can be used for 3 things outside of combat. 1. to heal as normal. 2. to regain a spell slot. 3. to regain a class feature/resource.
