Program For Creating PDFs / Background and Font Resources?

Hi all, I went back and forth about where to post this question but figured, if anyone was likely to know the answer to these questions, they'd be here. I apologize if it's the wrong spot. :) Every so often, I see people who make very nice, small PDFs listing the house rules for a campaign their running along with any custom content. This has always seemed like something which would be a nice compliment to my campaigns, especially the paid ones to give folks a little more value for their dollar. I wonder if there's some central resource these creators use given they all have that very nice "parchment" background to the pages and a similar looking font. The similarity just struck me. Any hints, or do they just have excellent Photoshop skills? Assuming it's something other than that, any suggestions on where to get such a background for PDFs like the above, as well as a font to match? If they're sold here, all the better! Secondly, side question. As someone who streams many Roll20 games to entertain generally and to support online tabletop as an accessible form of gaming for the disabled, does one need to become a Content Creator to post links to those streams here? I know it can only be Roll20 streams per the rules, and while I can't keep people roaming elsewhere on my YouTube page, those are the videos I'd link to. Not that I wouldn't also mind creating some campaign settings for the marketplace, were I able to figure out the above PDF question. Hmm! Well, all assistance is gratefully received.

I use a great API script called Markdown , which allows you to produce beautiful pdf-quality styled handouts within Roll20, which is great because you can continue to use Roll20's internal linking. The css file I use is found through this post in that thread. As for streaming links, you can post a link to your stream in the Roll20 Marketplace & Creative Content forum, but only Marketplace Creators can post artwork. [ Help Center "where to post" link ]

I got a pack full of seamless textures on the marketplace that might suit your needs! <a href="https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/13581/128-seamless-textures-in-parchment-paper-and-rust" rel="nofollow">https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/13581/128-seamless-textures-in-parchment-paper-and-rust</a>
I'm looking to create these 'rulebook' handouts in a standalone PDF format, if I could just figure out what the others I've seen used to make theirs. I'll give a look at that Markdown option. The textures look great, Tiffany, but I have to find a way to use them as hoped first! :)

Hi Legacy Arc Games! I'm sending you a PM, since the CoC for the forums discourages offsite posting. I think I have a solution for you.
