TLDR: We are looking for one mature player able to join an existing group at level 11, partway through Rise of Tiamat. Standard options only, D&D 5E. Saturday afternoons GMT (LONDON TIME). We play at around 2:30pm, so that's morning for Americans and reasonable for anyone in more Europe. Your DM is female, 30s, British; the group is mixed nationalities, some guys some girls, and mostly roughly similar age. If you're interested please direct message me on Roll20 and I may invite you to chat on Discord. So... Our group has been gaming together for a couple of years now. The original Party started out with the 5E Starter Set, and were dumped by our original DM during the second chapter, forcing one of us to step into the breach. Since then, they've gotten through a souped up Dragon of Icespire Peak (level 5+). We ran a "looking for magic apples" sidequest to Sunless Citadel for our warlock, who shortly after had to leave, and after some downtime the campaign picked up in Waterdeep where a new player joined us. Now, as we continue to investigate the Cult of the Dragon, our ranger/druid has been summoned away to help defend Leilon and its environs, along with the cleric who was the DM's original character (back when, you know, I wasn't the DM!) and her family. We are looking for one brave adventurer to help us head north and rescue a member of the Arcane Brotherhood - and, perhaps, to help defeat Tiamat, or at least the most recent faction of her cultists! We are looking for one player. Because we are mid-high levels, we are looking for somebody with at least a little experience. We are looking for someone who will engage in RP and prioritise this over min-maxing. Optimisation is fine, but we aren't combat-oriented. We are looking for someone who will fit in with the group in- and out- of character. You must be over 18. Despite the 'over-18' (and ideally late 20s or over) restriction, we keep our game safe for work. If you're the sort of person who will argue with me over why your character can't have some cool item or ability that it makes no sense for them to have just because you want the stats, please just don't contact us. Because when we started certain books weren't available to the original party, and for balance reasons (RoT is the first 5e campaign and power creep is a thing) we have a general ban on Tasha's and any later publications. That doesn't mean backstory/racial features etc. can't be tailored, but in general subclasses are ruled out. You must be willing to work with the DM to devise your character, and ideally be willing to partly fill the role left by our ranger/druid (doesn't have to be same class, but ranged combat, survival abilities and/or healing are all going to be appreciated). Current party is as follows: Human Fighter (battlemaster, dex based) with a little Paladin thrown in. Elven Cleric (forge domain, don't ask him about it, everyone thinks he's a warlock) Human Sorcerer (draconic, blue) Halfling Rogue (thief) They've also lost my original PC, a life cleric who pops in occasionally, our warlock (who is in Cragmaw Castle breeding oozes) and now our elven ranger/druid.
