Player Color Transparent

I'm the DM in a game, and somehow my player color is set to transparent.  I have no color options available, transparent is all I can select.

What appears when you click on your avatar's color square?

All I see is the option for transparent. This is also my third attempt to reply to this thread, I'm assuming some sort of maintenance is happening.

Some things to check: Are you using a supported browser (Chrome, Firefox)? Are you on a desktop or on a mobile device? Are you running any extensions that might be affecting behavior? (Try testing in a Private Browsing window) Ah! Do you by any chance have your avatars set to display at the top of the screen? If so, move them to the bottom while changing. The color-picking interface assumes a bottom position.

Hey, there it is. I've had things set this way for a long time, I wonder why it acted up all of a sudden.

It could have been a dark mode update. That tweaked a lot of CSS.

I sometimes get my player colour randomly changed to transparent in one of my games. Happens at startup and not during the game. Always makes me think the 'ping' function or ruler function is broken. Now I know to look...
