Enabling Kobold Press's Deep Magic module adds erroneous spells to their character sheets

When I enable Deep Magic in my list of available modules for my players in game (5e), as soon as they level up using the charactermancer tool, they get bombarded with several new spells that are added to their spell list for no reason.  All of a sudden they'll see checked boxes next to 4-5 new cantrips they never had access to, and several other spells across other levels.  Has anyone else experienced this with Deep Magic?  Does anyone know why these changes occur?
Hi, Scotty! I noticed this too--it seems charactermancer support for Deep Magic's spell list is enabled automatically when the book is made available to players. I assume this is done on purpose, for the benefit of game creators who are using the book's full expanded magic system and want players to have access to all of the spells when they level up. My own solution was to turn off sharing for that book in particular. I am not sure how to disable charactermancer support for a book that is shared.
