When you get to select your subclass in Artificer there are certain spells that are not supposed to work against your prepared spells list, but for some reason they are counting against the number of spells you can choose in Charactermancer. Example: Lvl 4 Artificer, Alchemist -- spells Healing Word and Ray of Sickness are always prepared, but do not count against your prepared spells list. Known amount of spells for a character with an 18INT (so +4 mod with +2 for half level number of spells able to be prepared) is 6. However 4 spells are chosen (Catapult, Cure Wounds, Disguise Self, Sanctuary) and cannot add the last 2 prepared spells to the charactermancer as charactermancer is counting Healing Word and Ray of Sickness against prepared list. Unsure if this is the same issue across all Artificer subclasses or just Alchemist, but wanted to raise.
