Hello everyone!  I'm posting here to offer a few free one shot introduction to D&D (or a different RPG of your choosing from the list of systems I've run/played) on the days listed above.  No experience is needed and all are welcome!  We'll begin with the Lost Mines of Phandelver (if D&D) and will likely run 3-5 weeks depending on how quickly players move through the adventure. I've got 15 years of playing and DMing experience under my belt and my campaigns have always run for long stretches averaging over a year.  If you like how the game goes I'm happy to offer keeping the adventure going as a long term campaign for my posted rate. Hey Scott, My name is Jamie, she/they, and I am super interested in trying out D&D, so this sounds perfect. A few questions; Should I have a character ready? Will we be starting at a specific level? Are there any classes I should avoid? Hopefully I'm not to late! Hoping to work with you, Jamie

Hi Scott! I am interested in joining but I have a very tight schedule. Do you have any availabilities for Saturdays?

@Bluejay: Great question!  No pre-game prep work is required, we'll start at level 1 and do character creation the first session.  After we'll run through the Lost Mines of Phandelver to start off and get everyone familiar with the game.  All the official WoTC released races/classes are allowed and there's no requirement for classes for anyone, I'll balance the encounters around whatever everyone rolls up (one of my games right now is a Fighter, Rogue, and two Monks).  I still have availability on all the days mentioned so which day works best for you? @Jacoby G.: No worries!  I have spots open for Saturday still (you're the first one to ask about the weekend spots actually, the joys of adulthood and work schedules!) 

If you still have space, I would be interested in playing. I have a very flexible schedule at this point in time but if it goes into the latter end of August, I might have a bit more time availability restrictions.

If you still have space I’m new to D&D but have been wanting to play for awhile. Saturdays or sundays work wonderful for me aswell!

From the sound of things it looks like there's enough people to start up a game next Saturday if everyone is available!  I've also got someone interested in Tuesdays so at the moment those look like the best days to get started next week.  Let me know if you're available here and I'll message out the game link, also wanted to ask what everyone prefers in terms of voice, video and voice or text, I'm happy with whatever everyone is comfortable with!

Would you be interested in running older systems? Dungeons and Dragons 3e/3.5 or Pathfinder 1e?

I'm happy to do a 3.5 or Pathfinder 1E game intro as well!  As a heads I do charge an additional $5 per person per session for long term games for those because of the increased book-keeping and house rules to make them work smoothly, and no meme builds and stuff born of poorly interpreted rules are allowed (pun pun, chuck the fastest man alive, peasant railguns, etc).

Wonderful news!  At the moment it looks like Saturday is full (pending confirmations!), but my games on Sunday, Monday, and Thursday are wide open and I have one person confirmed for Tuesday.
