[LFP][D&D 5e] Experienced DM welcoming new players!

Good luck adventuring in your other campaigns! Hey there, I'm Nico! I've been playing D&D for a few years now; I've been in several campaigns and DM'd one plus several one shots. I'm looking for newer players who are excited to learn and create a story together! We'll be starting the first few sessions with "The Dragon of Icespire Peak" but I have a campaign story in the works, which will be integrating your backstories so it will be meaningful for the characters. Expectations from the campaign and me as a DM: Experienced player that is very familiar with the rules, but fairly new to DMing so might still make mistakes Fair with combat. I don't try to outright kill characters, but if you try to poke a sleeping adult red dragon I won't magically teleport you away from danger either Living breathing world and story. Your decisions should feel like they affect the world around you realistically I'm not the best at voice acting, but I'll try my best when rping. Just don't expect Matt Mercer Some expectations for players: Open minded and considerate of the other players. You will all have your time to shine Communicative. Don't be afraid to ask questions or let me know where you want your character/story to go Always having fun as the priority! Once I get this campaign started though and want to do a second group I can reach out if you’re still looking, but this would probably be a few weeks from now minimum

I’m honestly so shocked at how many responses I’ve gotten. I’m still getting through them, so apologies for slow replies. I appreciate all of you for showing interest and taking your time to respond! Just know if you don’t hear back from me, it’s most likely because our schedules don’t match or playstyle is too different from the rest of the group. There’s a good chance that I’ll be DMing a second group starting august to maybe cater to the unfortunate schedules/different styles Also there’s a couple of you that I sent a friend req on discord but still haven’t accepted. And there are even some of you that left no way of me to contact you even on roll20 :(
