Pre-Order for Dragons of Stormwreck Isle

The new Wizards of the Coast Starter Kit is coming out July 31st.  I haven't seen a pre-order for Dragons of Stormwreck Isle yet.  Will this be available on Roll20?
My guess is we'll know more closer to the general release?

Yeah, I think the July 31 date is a Target exclusive.
Problem is, I'm going to have the physical product and need the digital.  I'll do the work if I have to, but would prefer it if Roll20 and/or Target sold the Roll20 version, too.

I don't think it will be available anywhere digitally until the release date, and so far, WotC has not put together any program to tie together digital and print copy purchases. To date, Paizo is the only vendor/partner on the Roll20 marketplace who has something like this, that I know of. And even there, it is only coordination between Roll20 content and PDFs, not print. WotC has been doing limited releases like this with some products. Mordenkainen Presents Monsters of the Multiverse was like this. It was released as a boxed set, and then, months later, standalone print and digital versions were released. This presumably makes sense to them from a marketing or revenue standpoint.

The previous starter set (Essentials Kit - Dragon of Icespire Peak) also did a staggered release. Target had the exclusive release several months before a general release. It was only available physically through Target until the wide release date, at which point the VTT versions were finally released. All versions of the release, including the Target early exclusive, came with codes that could be redeemed on DND Beyond, which did make game set up on Roll20 easier by having digital maps etc. available. We don't know yet if this new kit will include DND Beyond codes.

I did not know that. That's cool. I don't think that was true of the purchase on Roll20. Do you know if it was extended to Fantasy Grounds? Even before the acquisition, DnDB was always very tightly integrated with WotC. I imagine this was a deal they worked out.

Roll20 or FG purchases didn't include that code.
