The What: 5e Free campaign focused in a setting where the market is saturated by dozens, if not hundreds of adventurers all wanting to go on the big baddie quest and save the realm, etc etc. The only jobs left in the guild are related to the lowliest duties of slaying goblins, the ever-present vermin of nearly every city. Similar to rats, only more annoying and vicious, goblin infestations can spring up anywhere and cause extensive problems for anyone and everyone who encounters them. Often times, cities/towns/villages/farmers/independent sources will pay to remove these vermin. The job isn't glamorous, but it certainly is available since most other adventuring parties refuse to do such work.  The When:  I'm not exactly sure yet, I'd like it to be Saturday at some point, but I could swing it to Sunday if asked to do so, usually evenings work best. Most likely this would be a 3-4 hour game. Something like 6 CST PM to 10 CST or 5 CST to 9 CST. Not this Saturday (28th), next Saturday(6th).  I don't plan to start with session 1 in two days, (the 30th) if I get enough interest and people session 1 would be on August 6th. The Who: Looking for a party of 3-4 players, 4 would probably be best. People who will make characters that actually want to go with the group and do stuff. Yes, this isn't some glamorous mega-arching story about an evil dragon lord planning to rule the realm, however it also won't be simply "go kill these goblins" combat, "go kill these other goblins". Yes goblins might be a main antagonist but they won't be the sole enemy.  The Where: Game will be on Roll20, with voice chat as well as OOC stuff on Discord.  The Why: An interesting question with a somewhat uninteresting response of being in the mood for something "simpler," although I use that word loosely, instead of focusing on some super duper big bad guy planning to destroy the world, I would like to focus on the secret or otherwise unnoticed world of the vermin beneath everyone's feet, the little greenskin runts running about. It is slightly inspired from the anime Goblin Slayer though I only wish to use the basic premise, and won't be ripping off the plot or forcing the party to go through the anime in some sort of railroad. It's simply a fantasy setting where the party is one of hundreds of others who are forced to do the 'lower' jobs because all the other 'cooler' jobs are already taken.  The How: You can send me a private DM if you are interested, or reply here if you want, whichever works. If you do so I would like to know some basic information such as,  Your experience with 5e What sort of character you'd think you'd want to play What sort of things you'd expect from me as a DM/from each session ( be it more combat or more roleplaying, a mix of both, as well as what you want to see from each session like party dynamics or going on quests or doing dungeons.) Why are you interested?  (Strange question I know but it helps me to determine where your interests lie and how to best structure the campaign around it. Something besides 'it seems cool' would be nice but this is just a suggestion not a demand.)
