A white on white background on map selection seriously?

Not to mention the Pink on white outside game my eyes cant take much more.
And this too is awful along side the new color scheme. I'm moving my games elsewhere folks. Roll20 is seriously outdated compared to newer VTTs and my groups have had complaints for years on this site. Time to learn a new system methinks.
Yeah like what are they thinking do they want us to leave my groups had the same complaints
What other VTTs are there?
At the very least make it grey again...To say nothing of the white-on-white text of handling token sight details.

This is most certainly a bug rather than an intentional change. It has been reported here .
I have an eyesight condition which causes brighter colours such as white to blur over other colours so the new design is basically an assault on the senses. This new update made the site so much less accessible as a result. However, even without my eyesight condition as a consideration; white on white is a joke. Please fix this post-haste Roll20.
This is actually painful for my eyes. What in the world were they thinking with this?!? I mean.. Come on Roll20! There's a reason I turn on Dark Mode! Speaking of which.. Why does this unchangeable setting override dark mode??

+1 here too, this is not all that workable for games if people rely on page names rather than page images.
I am at a loss of words of how much worse this is than before.
That is horrible. I didn't even have words for this. >.<
Exactly my thoughts. This is outrageous. It seems that nobody has even bothered to look the upcoming changes over. This is a deplorable level of incompetence.
Also notice the amount of Pro and Plus subscribers here (aka paying customers)? I wonder what we will do if things like that keep happening...
I agree! The current design is horrible!
+1 If Roll20 doesn't revert back, every subscribers should cancel their sub until they do, IMO.
I think some of you are overreacting a little bit; this is clearly an unintended bug. That being said, it is extremely frustrating, hard to look at, and they should make it priority #1 to fix it as soon as possible. Luckily, I did find a pretty easy work around to fix it. In inspect element, if you find "color-surface 1" in the section modifying the page toolbar, you can uncheck it to fix the color. If you do that, it'll be good until you refresh or close the page. If you hover over all the lines, but can't find the one for the page toolbar, try right clicking and inspecting it a second time. Here's a quick video demonstrating how to do that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6jLFz6z5bk I know nothing about websites or codes, so maybe there's better things to do. This is easy and effective, however. If you're not on chrome, hopefully someone else can figure out something similar.

Here's the link just pasted to be double sure. They thanked the user for reporting the bug, and said they'd look into it. https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/10223955/dynamic-lighting-updates-bugs-and-feedback/?pageforid=11007743#post-11007743
