Dynamic Lighting on multiple elevations

I am working on a city map that will ideally have interior building layouts.  I would like to have the players be able to enter the buildings and see out through the windows so they can happen onto sniper locations and use them or similar things but I still want to be able to use dynamic lighting.  Has anyone done this or have any advise on it?

To achieve this effect you simply need to toggle the dynamic lighting element to be "one way": this can be done when you select the element painter, or you can select an existing element and update the setting using the dropdown: After painting on the dynamic lightning element, make sure the arrows are pointing in the direction you would like the light to be able to travel, you can toggle the light direction using the indicated arrows:
I am actually trying to have multiple floors with different layouts of dynamic lighting that do not interfere with each other.

The one-way lighting allows you model an extra level of elevation, for example a hilltop. You can have the one-way lightning only allow vision out from the top level of the elevation which is certainly along the lines of what you're asking for. I'm not sure if this would work so well for multiple floors/levels as I've not actually done that myself. Perhaps someone else can advise.
I will see if I can get that to work
