Fairly Basic Questions

Dear One and All I have a couple of questions based off a new campaign I started this week. 1) I have somehow managed to make every page dark when the players first see it. We had to then drag their tokens onto the map and make sure that the daylight feature was working. Is there any way to create pages that are always visible without this rigmarole? 2) Secondly when I allow all the players to see the health of each other on their tokens, that's a great benefit. However they can also see the same on the monster tokens which I'd prefer them not to. In the first session when this cropped up I was forced to remove the health bar from the monsters to avoid someone shouting, "he only has 7 hit points left!" This led to me tracking the monsters health on paper. I would like to add some of the macros for combat tracking, so I'd prefer a solution where I am the only one that can see the monsters health. Is there a way I can have my cake and eat it? Regards Frenchie
If you do not want to use Dynamic Lighting (explorer mode or whatever) you can turn if off in Game Settings: If you want to use Dynamic Lighting with the exception of certain maps, you can disable it in Page Settings: Make sure that in the Page Settings "Fog of War" is turned off and that on the "Dynamic Lighting" Tab, Dynamic Lighting is turned off. As for your second question: Also in Game Settings you can set defaults on what players are allowed to see for tokens. If you do not want to see your players seeing a monsers / npcs health, just go to token settings and disable the "see" permission: You can do that on a per token basis and also globally in the game settings mentioned above ;)
Dear Markus You are a scholar. Thanks Frenchie
