That's incorrect. If your subscription lapses you would lose the ability to use the custom character sheet immediately. However, none of the data would be destroyed. So if you re-subscribe in the future you would be able to pick up where you left off. Or, if you switch to a "standard" sheet some of the data *may* carry over depending on how similarly your fields were named.
