As it is, if you click refresh, post a reply, make any type of edit to any of the posts (which refreshes the page), etc. it tacks on another "view" to the counter. I know it isn't going to the top of the list but adding in even a 5-10 minute delay where you can't trip another "view" counter increase would greatly improve this.
